Soft-wash is the safest, cleanest and most cost effective method for cleaning roofs and the more delicate surfaces. Soft-wash is a non-aggressive method ideally suited to areas where safety, access and risk of damage to the property may be of concern.
The majority of moss will be removed from the roof using extendable roof scrapers prior to treatment.
The biocide is applied onto the roof or walls using a soft wash chemical sprayer / reach and wash system.
The treatment is then left on to work naturally over time as the algae, moss and lichens are slowly killed off at the root allowing the weather to complete the cleansing process.

Specialising in exterior masonry painting we take the uppermost pride in our work ensuring a thorough level of preparation to achieve the best possible finish.
Firstly we will thoroughly clean all areas to be
coated, any cracks will then be filled and all windows/doors etc will be masked off. Careful attention will be given to protect plants, shrubs, features & furniture etc. If required stabiliser/primer or undercoat will be applied followed by the main coat(s) & any contrasting trim.
Spray Painting
Often the preferred method of painting on roughcast/pebbledash surfaces or where large surface areas need to be covered quickly and evenly.
The roof is an integral part of any building. Over time your roof will begin to get weathered and faded as a result of the sun's harmful UV rays , wind, rain, frost, ice etc. When the sealed surface begins to degrade the pores in the tile become exposed and the roof loses its ability to shed water quickly.
Problems can arise when the water is able to enter the exposed pores, the outer surface of the tiles become slightly absorbent and tend to stay damp longer. Moss and Lichen which thrive in the moist environment begin to accumulate on the roof and further restrict the discharge of water.
Typically the moss ends up it the gutters, valleys and drains backing them up with water which can lead to ingress and spoil the buildings interior decoration.
Soft-wash is an extremely effective method for killing off all of these organisms. If however the surface of the tiles have become degraded, a roof coating can restore the colour, protection and functionality. A roof coating will often give the aesthetic of a new roof.
